The Contacts screen gives you access to the following types of contacts:

• Users -> Other users of Phone Manager
• Global Contacts -> Server based contact directories
• Personal Contacts -> Personal Phone Manager contacts that have been created on the mobile or desktop client
• Mobile Contacts -> Contacts that are on the mobile device

List Filter

At the top of the contacts screen is a drop down list that allows you to filter the view to a specific type of contact:

 

The items displayed in the list will vary depending on the business units and global directories that have been configured on the server.The table below outlines the different icons that dictate the different contact types:

	Business Units, each element in the list with this image represents a department or team within the organization.
	Global or Personal contact.
	Favorites list
	Mobile Phone Contacts

 

In the image below the test business unit has been selected and the view has filtered to just show users in business unit.

 

Free Filter

To filter the view further a name or number can be entered into the filter text box located under the filter list. This will filter the currently selected list.
